Partners in Wellness Education
The Wellness Partnership is a working committee inclusive of members from five health-focused entities: JCFHF, JCFHD, Mariposa County Health Department and Mariposa County Human Services, and local healthcare providers, along with interested community members. The vision of the Wellness Partnership is to promote health and wellness through education programming and, by raising understanding of critical health issues and the individual's role in their own health, to make Mariposa the healthiest community in California. To date, this group has coordinated, planned and/or presented educational events on diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, summer safety and neurological issues.
